While the assessment objectives (AO1 to AO4) are standard, the expectations for the Personal Investigation and the Externally Set Assignment vary.
We match students with tutors who are experts in the specific structure of their specification.
Edexcel: We focus on the specific structure of the "Personal Investigation," ensuring that the practical work is tightly integrated with the 1000-3000 word personal study so that the portfolio feels cohesive.
AQA: We guide students through the distinct requirements of Component 1, helping them to select a theme that offers enough scope for the sustained investigation required by the board.
OCR: We target the "Related Study" component, ensuring that students treat the written element with the same academic rigour as a humanities essay to maximise marks on context and analysis.
WJEC/Eduqas: We specialise in the "Personal Creative Enquiry," helping students to navigate the specific emphasis on drawing and recording from primary sources that the Welsh board prioritises.
