Economics is a subject where knowing the textbook definitions is not enough to secure a top grade. The real challenge lies in application and evaluation; students must build logical "chains of analysis" and apply economic theory to real-world case studies they have never seen before.
Many struggle to bridge the gap between drawing a diagram and writing a nuanced, critical essay under time pressure.
Our tuition focuses on economic intuition and essay technique.
We teach students how to structure their arguments to hit the specific assessment objectives (AO3 and AO4), ensuring that they can evaluate policy decisions with depth and precision rather than just listing pros and cons.

The core theory is consistent, but the exam structure dictates the strategy.
We match students with tutors who are experts in the specific requirements of their specification.
AQA: We provide a structured approach to the 25-mark essay questions and the tricky Multiple Choice section so that students can construct coherent, well-evaluated arguments without running out of time.
Edexcel A (Economics): We focus on the distinct "Four Themes" structure and the heavy quantitative skills requirement, ensuring that students can calculate elasticities and interpret data with confidence.
Edexcel B (Economics & Business): We specialise in this unique hybrid course, helping students navigate the specific investigative themes and the cross-over between business strategy and economic environment.
OCR: We guide students through the data response questions, teaching them how to extract relevant evidence from the case study to support their analysis so that they maximise marks on the context-heavy papers.
WJEC/Eduqas: We target the specific requirements of the Component 2 and 3 essay papers, focusing on the global perspective and development economics required for the A2 content.

"The independent school fee increases due to the new VAT rules meant that had to change our daughter's school for her final year. We put some of the savings towards A-Level tuition for her to ensure she gets the attention she needs, and now she's scoring even better than she was at her old school!"
