The texts differ, but the requirement to interpret them through the lens of influential practitioners is universal.
We match students with tutors who are experts in the requirements of their specification.
AQA: We provide specialised preparation for Component 1 set texts like Antigone or Our Country's Good. We teach students how to answer the specific "director/performer/designer" questions to hit the distinct criteria for each role.
Edexcel: We guide students through Component 3 ("Theatre Makers in Practice"). We specifically target the reimagining of a classic text for a contemporary audience, ensuring the concept is original but grounded in the play's intentions.
OCR: We target the unique "Practitioners in Practice" component. We help students practically explore the methodologies of Artaud or Grotowski so their devising logbooks demonstrate a clear link between theory and practice.
WJEC/Eduqas: We specialise in the "Text in Action" component, ensuring that students can apply their chosen practitioner's style consistently to both their devised and scripted performances.
