The IB History course is a world history programme based on a comparative and multi-perspective approach. You will explore a variety of political, social, and economic developments, moving from the study of specific conflicts to the analysis of global trends.

Paper 1: This is a source based exam focused on a prescribed subject. We help you master the skills of source analysis, including evaluation of origin, purpose, and content.
Paper 2: This is an essay paper based on world history topics such as the causes of war or the Cold War. We teach you how to write comparative essays that cover different regions and time periods.
Paper 3 (HL only): This exam focuses on a specific regional option, such as the History of Europe or the History of the Americas. We help you develop the depth of knowledge needed for these specialised and detailed essays.
Internal Assessment (IA): Both SL and HL students complete a historical investigation. Our tutors act as mentors to help you choose a research question, evaluate your sources, and write a formal academic report.
Ongoing Tuition
