A-Level Physical Education is often underestimated, but it is effectively a science qualification. The practical performance is only a fraction of the grade; the real challenge is the heavy theoretical workload.
Students must transition from playing sport to analysing it through the lens of anatomy, physics, and sociology. The primary stumbling block is the requirement to link complex physiological concepts directly to specific movements in a game situation.

We teach students to integrate the three distinct pillars, Physiology, Psychology, and Socio-cultural issues, ensuring they can explain not just how a movement happens, but the mental and social factors driving the performance.

The scientific theory is rigorous across all specifications, but the coursework requirements vary.
We match students with tutors who are experts in their specification.
AQA: We focus on the specific structure of Paper 1 (Applied Anatomy) and Paper 2 (Psychological Factors). We provide targeted support for the written coursework (NEA), ensuring students can analyse their own performance using the specific theoretical models required.
OCR: We target the heavy biomechanics content in Component 1. We also drill the "Evaluation and Analysis of Performance for Improvement" (EAPI) oral exam, teaching students to structure their verbal response to hit the top bands for action planning.
Edexcel: We specialise in the "Scientific Principles" component. We guide students through the Personal Development Programme (PDP), ensuring their coursework demonstrates a clear, data-driven progression in performance.
