A-Level Law is rarely about simply reciting an Act of Parliament. The real challenge, and where the vast majority of marks are lost, lies in application.
Students must act as lawyers, taking a messy, real-world scenario and applying specific legal rules to determine liability. The difficulty is not just knowing the law, but structuring a logical argument that weaves the facts of the case into the legal definition.
Our tuition focuses on scenario technique.
We teach students the IDEA method (Identify, Define, Explain, Apply) to ensure they extract every possible mark from the problem questions, rather than just dumping knowledge on the page.

The statutes are the same, but the assessment of them differs.
We match students with tutors who are experts in the specific structure of their specification.
AQA: We focus on the high-tariff 30-mark questions in Paper 3, specifically the abstract "Concepts of Law" essays (such as Law and Morality) which require a completely different structure to the problem questions.
OCR: We guide students through the specific "Section B" scenario questions. We ensure they can switch between the criminal law requirements of Component 1 and the specific Tort or Human Rights options in Component 2.
Eduqas: We specialise in the "Nature of Law" component. We help students navigate the specific constitutional theories and the detailed case studies required for the Human Rights option.
